normalise ‘it’s ok, you don’t have to find someone’ instead of ‘you’ll find someone one day’
You DO NOT have to find someone. It’s so very important to understand that. Societal norms have brain washed entire generations into thinking procreation is a MUST, thus making romantic and/or sexual partnerships a MUST. Please, let me be clear… THEY ARE NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR HAPPINESS AND FULFILLMENT. YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE FOR NOT HAVING A PARTNER!
Plain text: You do not have to find someone. It’s so very important to understand that. Societal norms have brain washed entire generations into thinking procreation is a a thus making romantic and/or sexual partnerships a must. Please, let me be clear… they are not a requirement for happiness and fulfillment. you are not a failure for not having a partner!
Going to add there are lots of ways to have kids including bio kids without “finding someone“ too. so, if you want to, you don’t have to find someone to procreate. Donor IVF, surrogacy. There are options! So don’t let the personal desire to have kids make you feel compelled to find someone and don’t let not finding someone deprive you of parenthood if you want it.
